Life is Strange as a series is probably one of the most iconic episodic adventure games, so when it drops a very recognizable trait of its legacy, this is bound to affect other similar games as well. The Future Of Episodic Games: The Wolf Among Us 2, Life Is Strange: True Colors RELATED: The Wolf Among Us 2 Starting from Scratch That's a significant change for both franchises that will surely impact both titles' storytelling methods. The Wolf Among Us 2 is likely to do something similar once it releases, as the new Telltale studio confirmed all episodes are in the works simultaneously. Deck Nine Games will still divide Life is Strange: True Colors into episodic format, but all True Colors episodes will be available upon release. The biggest change to the franchise happening with the latest entry is dropping the episodic release format. As for Life is Strange: True Colors, this entry is undergoing big changes as well.ĭeck Nine Games, the same studio that made Life is Strange: Before the Storm, returns to develop Life is Strange: True Colors. Since Telltale Games declared bankruptcy back in 2018, and considering it lost most of its assets and part of the original team working on its games, it is likely that things will change for the series. Toad, and Snow White, time is running short to figure out who’s responsible, who could be next, and how deep this all runs. With Life is Strange: True Colors closing in, it's safe to assume that the new Telltale Games will draw inspiration from what is changing with the game for its second, very anticipated season called The Wolf Among Us 2. Following the first murder in Fabletown in many years, as Bigby it was your mission to find out what happened and what this could mean for every other resident in the near future. To fans’ surprise and relief in 2019, the Telltale brand was miraculously saved by LCG Entertainment, who had acquired the company. All of that seemed to be lost once the studio closed in 2018. Keeping this success in mind, the same expectations were applied to The Wolf Among Us 2 – gameplay and progression would be the same, though the story would depend on your decisions in the first game. This is primarily due to the fact that, like most other Telltale games, the gameplay is centered on quick-time events that help bring a visual novel to life. The first game was an impressive title, earning a 10/10 on Steam while maintaining a lower bound score of at least 8/10 or 4.2/5 on most other media sites. #THE WOLF AMONG US SEASON 2 CONTINUED SERIES#When this initially occurred, many fans assumed that it was lights out for the series as a whole. Since the release of The Wolf Among Us in 2013, there have been a few setbacks concerning the development of The Wolf Among Us 2, most notably the closure of Telltale Games in 2018.
